Harley's adorable photo was posted, and the only information given was that he was a Golden Retriever, Poodle, Border Collie mix. His brindle coloring is what caught JC's eye. I made an appointment to see the pup, and my biggest mistake was taking the kids with me. (NOTE: Don't ever take your kids with you when your objective is to merely LOOK at a puppy. You WILL end up taking said puppy home with you.) So, that evening, we brought Harley home. What a sweetie he was!
When we took him to the first vet's, he told us that Harley would probably be 40-45 pounds as an adult dog. Okay, we could live with that, I thought. WELL...
...Harley is now six months old, and he's 55 pounds. HUH????? We did find out (from the second vet) that Harley is most likely Golden Retriever, Standard Poodle and Irish Wolfhound. Oh, yes. You read that right. Harley has a lot of growing to do yet. Oh boy. This is NOT waht I expected!
We recently went to visit Grammy, and I was able to get some photos. Take a look at my little six month old lap puppy...

He looks a lot like a giant sized "Benji"....I can relate to the lap dog reference, we have a huge rotty who thinks she is the size of a chihuahua but she is more like a small bear.
He is SOOOO cute! Not a lap puppy, but he looks like a nice dog. We have a big dog too. He is about 75 pounds.
Ohhhh!!! Harley is so bloody cute! I bet he's a real cuddle-bug!!
So cute! I love it when it snows, doesn't snow much in OK though!
Harley is so cute. Reminds me of my childhood dog, Tink.
