Southpeak Interactive Corporation Introduces ‘Big Bang Mini’ for Nintendo DS™

Nintendo DS Big Bang Mini Release on January 20

We are a family of gamers. Truly. All of us are addicted to games of some sort. We own a Wii, Playstation 3, XBox, Nintendo DS and a PSP. As you can imagine, there is usually someone playing something at our house. I have recently gotten into gaming, and it is all my husband's fault! :) The biggest problem we have is that the kids don't always want to share their games with us.

When I heard of the release of Nintendo DS Big Bang Mini, I thought for a minute that maybe I'd just hide the game away and not even show the kids and hubby, but since I think the game is going to be a huge hit, I guess I'll share. :) Maybe.

From Southpeak Interactive Corporation:
A challenging new twist on the retro shooter-style game, Big Bang Mini, developed in conjunction with Studio Arkedo, offers Nintendo DS™ players the opportunity to create their own fireworks displays. Players send up rockets with a sweep of the stylus while avoiding the burning fallout from fireworks which miss their targets. The aim of the game is to collect stars which fall when an enemy is defeated and progress through the game’s 90 levels.

Rated E for Everyone, the game is a ‘shoot ‘em up’ that will make long journeys pass in a flash – whether sat in the back of a car driven by mom or dad, or on the train while commuting to work, such is the game’s appeal to players of all ages.

Big Bang Mini will be available at major retailers nationwide beginning on January 20, with a suggested retail price of $19.99.
