ENJOY saved my hair!! {review}

A little while back, I was presented with the opportunity to try ENJOY Professional Haircare products. Given the fact that my thick, color-treated, unruly hair was in need of some serious TLC, I jumped at the chance!

I was sent ENJOY Sulfate Free Hydrating Shampoo and ENJOY Hydrating Conditioner. I have been using both for a little more than a month now, and can honestly say, I have NEVER used products this amazing before. ENJOY Sulfate Free Hydrating Shampoo and ENJOY Hydrating Conditioner have repaired my damaged hair and left it sleek and healthier than ever!

{A little information about the products}

Designed to hydrate coarse, curly or overly dry hair. Available in gallons (for salon use), 10oz size retails for $18.95(USD), while the 33 oz size retails for $39.95(USD).

{Why Sulfate-Free?}
Sulfate is the informal name for a group of cleansing ingredients called alkyl
sulfates, which are among the most irritating ingredients commonly found in
personal care products. Ammonium lauryl sulfate is the most strongly irritant,
followed by sodium lauryl sulfate. They are typically used as an inexpensive
detergent or degreaser and have been found to dry out the skin and hair and
even cause irritation. ENJOY proudly chooses to be sulfate-free.

{What’s the big deal with having pH balanced and stable products?}
ENJOY knows that pH balanced and stable products are key for optimum hair color retention. Human skin and hair resides in the pH 4.5-5.5 range, but most products on the market are pH 7 or greater. In addition to leaving the hair feeling dry and brittle, the higher pH in these products raises the cuticle and causes hair color to fade shampoo after shampoo. This isn’t the case with ENJOY. To provide long-lasting color and complement hair’s natural pH balance, ENJOY works hard to insure that their products are pH 4.5-6.0. They also conduct extensive bake tests on the line to guarantee pH stability.

{My review}
As I mentioned,I have been using the ENJOY products for a little over a month (actually more like 6 weeks). I noticed that I need very little product in my hair. The shampoo lathers very nicely and both smell wonderful! There is no waxy build-up at all. Additionally, I notice that my color lasts longer and fades less when I use the ENJOY products. My hair is now shiny, full, and feels so soft. I love that!

Last week I went to the salon for a cut and color, and the hair dresser asked me what I am doing differently with my hair. Confused, I asked her what she meant. She clairified by asking what products I have been using since my last appointment. I told her about the ENJOY products, and she said, "Keep using them! Your hair is the healthiest it has ever been!" Seriously. She told me I had no slpit ends at all. I was thrilled!

I have every intention of continuing to use the ENJOY products. I recommend them without any hesitation. If your salon does not carry them, ask them to contact ENJOY to see about solving that problem. :)
