coffee {Gloria Jean's Hazelnut K-Cups vs. Eight O' Clock Coffee Hazelnut K-Cups}

This completely describes me! Seriously. Especially lately. You see, sleep has not been a friend to me lately. Today, at a little after 4 AM, I quit fighting it and decided to go ahead an start my day with coffee.

Since I am already on my second cup of liquid gold, I figured now would be a great time to share a short review of a couple different brands of hazelnut coffee for the Keurig.

The first brand I tried today is Gloria Jean's Hazelnut. I love the way my kitchen smells when this one is brewing. I can smell the rich nutty aroma, and instantly, I crave the taste. The strength of the coffee is almost perfect. It is a medium roast, but it's a little lighter than I like. Even so, the strength of the roast still allows me to enjoy the smooth hazelnut flavor. It doesn't matter whether I brew a small or large cup, the flavor remains consistent. There is only a mild acidic taste with Gloria Jean's Hazelnut K-cups.

Eight O' Clock Coffee Hazelnut K-Cups are my favorite. It's aroma while brewing is simply mouth-watering! It is also a medium roast. The strength is absolutely perfect! It is full-flavored with no acidic taste. The taste is slightly sweet, smooth, and nutty. The aftertaste is also quite pleasant. I could seriously drink Eight O' Clock Coffee Hazelnut all day! The only negative thing I can say is that it is sometimes difficult to find as stores sell out of this brand more quickly than other brands.

If you are looking for a dark roast coffee, neither of these brands are for you. If you like a medium roast, flavored coffee, you can't go wrong with either of these brands.

Now, I need another cup.
