The cast is OFF!!

I am super stoked to report that my ugly purple cast is finally history! After five weeks of sheer torture, the nurse cut it off my arm {which, by the way looks hideous!}. I now wear a splint and have to go to occupational and physical therapy for eight weeks to get my hand and wrist working as it should. Fine by me.

It's truly amazing how much we depend on out dominant hand in our everyday lives! I'm going to be able to cut my own food. I can write a little better {Still hurts}. I can wash my hair, shave my legs and arm pits. I can do my hair and makeup once again.

Life is good.
