This special event will take place at the Fair Oaks Marriot Hotel in Fairfax, VA, near Washington DC from noon to 4 PM on Sunday, October 4, 2009. This event will include a big brunch as well as a hair and fashion runway. The local community and area hair designers are now being asked to attend to celebrate fashion and breast cancer research at this fall event.

Participating hair designers will be on hand at this event to professionally bond fashionable Pink Hair For Hope extensions to attendees on-site for a small donation of $10 per strand. Janelle and Neal Hail of the National Breast Cancer Foundation in Dallas, Texas will personally be on hand to share a video and presentation about their work to help women in need. The Challenge Of Breast Cancer: Breast Cancer is the second most common form of cancer found in women next to skin cancer. In 2009, an estimated 192,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and over 40,000 of them will die. Kathy Williams of SO. CAP. Arlington, TX Hair loss is much more than a physical phenomena. It is extremely emotional, especially for women who suffer from this challenge.
