Psi Bands (pronounced “sigh bands”) were created by two fashion-forward moms-to-be looking for a drug-free way to treat their ongoing morning sickness. Determined to feel better without using drugs, they discovered the benefits of wrist acupressure, an ancient healing art that uses pressure to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities.
Unsatisfied with existing products on the market, and wanting something “more” for others who suffer from nausea (as you can imagine, they are incredibly compassionate towards others who suffer from nausea), they teamed up with a Product Designer to help them create their vision. The result of their collective efforts is Psi Bands, drug-free wrist bands for the relief of nausea due to morning sickness (pregnancy), motion sickness/travel, chemotherapy, and anesthesia.
Unlike any other product on the market, Psi Bands adjust around the wrist and at the acupressure point, and come in an array of designs, ranging from hip to classic. They are comfortable, waterproof, reusable, affordable, and fit most wrists.
Scientific studies support the use of wrist acupressure for the relief of nausea. Wrist acupressure has grown in popularity because it is noninvasive, easy to self-administer, and affordable.
Hard work, long hours, determination, the support of their spouses, and a shared vision has made these moms’ dream of helping others become a reality.
There’s more than one reason Psi Bands chose the color green for the company logo and packaging. In an effort to create a more sustainable business model for Psi Bands and our society, Psi Health Solutions, Inc. has taken the following environmentally and socially conscious measures:
1. Psi Bands use biocompatible materials. They are made from medical grade synthetic rubber and are latex-free.
2. We use no PVC in any of our products or packaging.
3. Psi Bands themselves are reusable and our packaging serves as a reusable travel case.
4. Our packaging uses all aqueous-based inks and uses the smallest dimensions possible to reduce our carbon footprint.
5. Psi Bands donate $1 of every Cherry Blossom (the GREEN-colored band) set sold to our charitable partner, Fertile Hope (a national non-profit which provides reproductive information, support and hope to cancer patients and survivors whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility).
Psi Bands were featured in the Oct. 2008 issue of O-The Oprah Magazine. They have appeared most recently in Fit Pregnancy, Self, Pregnancy and Virtuoso Life magazines, and were in both Boating Lifeand Boating World magazines, as well as Daily Candy’s “Everywhere Weekend Guide.”
Psi Bands are available nationwide at 5,000+ Rite Aid retail locations, as well as other regional chains such as REI, Longs Drugs, Elephant Pharm and Drugworld stores. They are also sold by numerous other retailers including drugstore.com, babycenter.com and amazon.com (see www.psibands.com for a complete list).

My sister raves about these all the time, but these Psi bands are MUCH cuter than the ones she had, I especially love the cherry blossom.

I REALLY need this! My daughter threw up twice in my husbands NEW truck the FIRST week! Were scared to go anywhere without giving he something for sickness! This would be a GREAT alternative!
Psi Bands is excited to support Count Me In and their mission of promoting independence and the growth of women-owned businesses.

I like the fact that they come in 5 different prints-and can be worn by men too. (like a watch) My dad has lung cancer and is starting chemo within the next week and I would love to give him these bands to help him with his nausea because I know he is going to need it.
