Etsy Find: My Handbound Books and a Giveaway

I am a writer. It is one of my greatest passions in life. As much as I do adore my computer for the ease of writing, there's just something about putting pen to paper that excites me. I am especially fond of pretty journals and have a collection of them that I have kept since I was a teenager.

For awhile, I got away from keeping a journal. Life got busy, I suppose. Even so, I realized recently that I missed the feel of pen in hand and the joy I receved from writing. So, my search for a new journal began.

I found many journals that I liked, but the ones that really caught my eye are the ones made by the great Etsy shop My Handbound Books. Rhonda's handbound books and planners are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.

My Handbound Books journals and planners are covered in butter-soft leather, and have a strap to wrap around the book that tucks under itself to keep everything neat and tidy.

Buy It:
My Handbound Books offers many gorgeous handbound journals and planners for sale. Visit the shop now to purchase a one of a kind journal for yourself or the writer in your life.

WIN IT:
One living life one day at a time reader will win a 2-Year Monthly Planner for 2009-2010.
This monthly planner has a wrap-around suede leather cover and is bound using a simple longstitch in dark brown linen thread, visible on the spine.

This book contains:
* a 2-year monthly calendar with a 2-page spread for each month
* other standard pages for personal info, phone numbers, addresses, important dates, 2011 future planning pages, etc.
* a set of pocket pages at the back
* lots of blank pages (half the pages lined and half are unlined)
* an attached ribbon bookmark.

The cover is soft beige suede cowhide. There is a strap to wrap around the book that tucks under itself to keep everything neat and tidy. Book size is about 6¼" x 3½" and ¾" thick (or 16cm x 9.5cm x 2cm). This book is not refillable.

I love the lime green journal, because, A. I love green...and B. I have been wanting to start a journal.
That way I could just jot a little something every night.

I like the Autumn Journal - small handbound pocket sketchbook. I'm a graphic designer, so a lot of times when I meet with clients I need to sketch out things...this would be fun to use for that purpose!!
