Simple and Natural: Holistic care, essential oil blends.

It's no secret that my son and I suffer with horrible migraines. Between the two of us, we have a very well stocked medicine cabinet. I am overwhelmed by all the medications, and certainly, they can't be a good thing for our bodies to take on a long-term basis.

Over the past several months, I have researched essential oils. I like how they are plant-based. I also love the holistic approach they offer to someone wanting to try a natural approach instead of putting chemicals into one's body.

I purchased a diffuser and some essential oils, but I felt completely overwhelmed. I asked questions to people who have been using essential oils for a long time. A couple of those people recommended that I look on Etsy for therapeutic-grade essential oil blends. The blends are premixed with the carrier oil to target a particular issue. In our case, we needed migraine relief.  STAT.

I looked on Etsy and found a huge number of essential oil blends.  I contacted some sellers and asked more questions.  Fortunately, the sellers were very patient with me. :)

The owner of SimpleNaturalPC shop was one of those sellers to put up with my zillion questions.  She offered to send me a few different blends to try.

The package I received contained a few different essential oil blends in roll-on form. The labels were clearly marked and contained very specific instructions on how to use the roll-on.

Two of the blends we tried were targeted for migraines. The first blend we tried was Migraine and Headache. We applied it to our temples, back of our neck, and along the spine. It did provide noticeable relief, but the relief did not last as long as we would have liked.

The second blend, Mag Migraine and Headache was a favorite for my son and me. This blend contains kid-friendly oils as well as magnesium oil. We use this oil on our temples, along the spine, and on the back of our neck. This particular blend seems to work faster and lasts longer than the other migraine blend. The cost of the roll-on is only $10, money well-spent in my opinion.
